- Professional Directory: A listing platform connecting users with mental health professionals, including but not limited to Clinical Psychologists (RCI registered), Psychologists (NCAHP), Counselling Psychologists, Sport Psychologists, Forensic Psychologists, and Academic Psychologists.
- Digital Magazine: A source of informational content regarding mental health and psychology.
We are an Information Service Provider, not a Medical Service Provider. We do not offer direct medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The relationship established through this site is solely that of an information intermediary.
2. Inclusivity and Scope of Listings
Our goal is to create an inclusive ecosystem for the psychology community in India. We list professionals from various domains:
- Clinical Psychologists: Must hold valid RCI registration.
- Allied Professionals: Including Counselling, Industrial, Sport, and Forensic Psychologists, vetted based on their respective academic and professional credentials (NCAHP/University Degrees).
While we strive for inclusivity, we reserve the absolute right to reject or remove any listing that does not meet our internal quality standards or verification criteria.
3. Vetting Process and Accuracy of Information
We employ a strict vetting process to the best of our capacity and understanding. This includes verifying uploaded certificates (such as RCI registration or Degree Certificates) at the time of registration.
However:
- Professional Responsibility: The accuracy, currency, and truthfulness of the information provided in a profile (including specialization, experience, and fees) are the sole responsibility of the listed professional.
- No Guarantee: IndianPsychologists.in does not warrant that the information provided by professionals is completely error-free or up-to-date at all times.
4. Limitation of Liability (Disclaimer)
IndianPsychologists.in and Joyful Psych Ventures Pvt Ltd explicitly disclaim all liability for the acts, omissions, or advice of any professional listed on this platform.
- Service Outcome: We are not responsible for the quality, success, or outcome of any consultation, therapy, or service provided by a listed professional.
- User Risk: Any engagement with a professional found through this directory is entered into at the User’s own risk.
- Emergency Situations: This platform is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or suicidal thoughts, please contact a local hospital or emergency helpline immediately.
5. User Responsibilities
- Due Diligence: It is the User’s responsibility to verify the credentials and suitability of a professional before starting treatment.
- Appropriate Choice: The User is solely responsible for choosing the professional that best fits their specific needs.
6. Professional Responsibilities (For Listed Practitioners)
By listing on this platform, you agree to:
- Adhere strictly to the ethical guidelines of your governing body (e.g., RCI, APA, or relevant Indian laws).
- Provide care that meets the standard of quality and safety expected of your profession.
- Maintain the confidentiality and dignity of your clients.
- Keep your profile information accurate and updated.
7. Grievance Redressal
We take the safety of our users seriously. While we are not liable for the services provided, we are committed to maintaining the integrity of our directory.

We will investigate the matter and may take action, including the suspension or permanent removal of the professional’s listing from our platform.
8. Intellectual Property
All content published in our Magazine section, including articles, logos, and graphics, is the intellectual property of Joyful Psych Ventures Pvt Ltd or the respective contributing authors. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ernakulam, Kerala.
